The beginning of a time journey
Nixon is ruling the USA, the Beatles are breaking up, and in Mönchengladbach, the foundation is laid for one of Germany’s most innovative advertising agencies. A clever mind with a touch of madness decided to shake up the world of advertising.
Willi Brandt was leading Germany, gas was ridiculously cheap, and our founding? Siegfried Lach pulled the advertising agency LACH out of the hat, with HORTEN Warenhaus AG jumping out first like a rabbit from the cylinder. Magical!
1970
While the German national team battled on the field, we made sure the fans could enjoy the spectacle in full color. THORN Rentals and LACH: a partnership that made Germany shine –literally!
1974
We turned textile companies into cult brands and made silk scarves from Krefeld more desirable than pizza in Rome. Whether it was about making fashion statements or conquering the global market – LACH showed how it’s done, with style and substance.
80s & 90s
Back when James Bond was still on the horizon, we were already in Beijing, carrying a suitcase full of ideas and an unwavering determination to turn the fashion industry upside down. LACH goes East – because our clients couldn’t wait.
1992
We rocked the fashion and advertising world, collected awards like others collect stamps, and proved that true greatness lies in creativity – not in the number of office chairs.
2000s
Anniversary preparations with obstacles: Just as we were about to pop the champagne corks, fate showed us that flexibility is more than just a buzzword. Pandemic? A word that taught us what resilience truly means.
